2. Our Services: Scope & Types of Certificates

3. Independent Medical Judgment & No Guarantee of Acceptance

By using our Site, you explicitly acknowledge that:

• GetMedicalCertificate.com does not itself issue medical certificates. The platform only facilitates tele-consultations between you and independent healthcare professionals who are solely responsible for deciding if a certificate is appropriate.
• Acceptance or rejection of a certificate by your employer, educational institution, airline, sports authority, visa officer, or any other third party is outside our control.

4. Who May Use This Site

Ensure the contact information you provide (email, phone) is accurate and remains updated, since critical communications will be sent there.

6. Certificate Formats, Language, and Content Limitations

All medical certificates are prepared in English, on the doctor’s official or clinic letterhead, and include the doctor’s registration number, clinic or practice address, contact email for verification, and a signature that may be handwritten or digitally printed.

Being a purely online platform, certificates do not include your local residential address.

Certificates are issued with specific periods of rest, fitness or sick leave, determined by the doctor’s assessment on the day of consultation.

Once issued, certificates cannot be altered to change dates, extend duration, or modify medical statements unless a new consultation is conducted and the doctor independently determines that changes are medically warranted.

7. Verification by Employers or Institutions

To protect your privacy under the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), certificates are only verifiable by the organization to which the document is addressed (such as your employer or university).

Verification requests must come from the official email domain of that organization, copying you (the patient) in CC.

Verification is strictly limited to confirming the authenticity of the document, the issuance date, and the period prescribed. No additional medical information will be shared without your explicit written consent.

Verification requests may require up to 15–20 working days for processing due to compliance checks and communication with the issuing doctor.

8. Refund Policy

Fees paid are primarily for the doctor’s consultation service, regardless of whether a certificate is issued. If, after assessment, the doctor finds it inappropriate or medically unjustified to issue a certificate, this decision does not qualify for a refund.

Refunds will only be considered in the rare event of duplicate payments or verifiable technical failures on our platform.

By proceeding with payment, you acknowledge these terms and waive claims for refunds based on the doctor’s independent decision.

9. Data Privacy & GDPR Compliance
