Terms of Service

Effective Date: October 2025
Entity: HealthVenture OÜ, operating as GetMedicalCertificate.com

1. Scope and Acceptance

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between the User (“you”) and HealthVenture OÜ (“the Company,” “the Platform,” “we,” or “us”) governing all access to and use of GetMedicalCertificate.com (“the Platform”) and its associated services (“Services”). By accessing, browsing, or completing payment, the User acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and the Privacy & Data Protection Policy and Payments & Refunds Policy.

2. Nature of Service

The Platform functions solely as a digital facilitation medium, connecting Users with independent, duly licensed medical professionals who may, after digital consultation, issue medical certificates at their professional discretion.
The Platform itself does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or prescriptions. All professional judgment, including the decision to issue, modify, or deny a certificate, rests exclusively with the consulting doctor.

3. Eligibility and Lawful Use

The User represents and warrants that they:

  • Are at least sixteen (16) years of age or of legal capacity under applicable law;
  • Provide true, complete, and accurate information at all times;
  • Will not misrepresent identity, medical history, or intent;
  • Will use the Services solely for lawful, non-medico-legal purposes such as workplace, academic, or travel documentation; and
  • Will not use any certificate for fraudulent, insurance, or litigation-related purposes.

4. Consultation and Issuance Process

All consultations occur exclusively via digital chat. No in-person or video consultations are conducted.
Certificates, if approved, are delivered in electronic PDF format only and include relevant details of the issuing doctor (registration number, signature, date). The Platform disclaims any responsibility for non-acceptance of the certificate by employers, educational institutions, or authorities.

5. Professional Independence of Doctors

All doctors engaged through the Platform operate as independent contractors. The Platform exercises no control over clinical opinions or outcomes. The Company shall not be liable for any professional act, omission, or decision of a consulting doctor, including refusal to issue a certificate.

6. Verification Requests

Verification shall be entertained solely when initiated by the intended recipient institution through its official email domain, with the patient in copy. Verification shall be limited to authentication of issuance date and validity period. No clinical data or personal medical information shall be disclosed without the User’s express written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The Platform, its affiliates, and representatives shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • Aggregate liability shall not exceed the total fee paid for the disputed Service.
  • Services are provided strictly “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of accuracy, reliability, or uninterrupted operation.

8. Indemnification

The User agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Platform, its directors, and affiliates from all claims, losses, and expenses arising from misuse of the Services, violation of these Terms, or non-compliance with applicable laws.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

All contractual obligations and disputes shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of India.
Exclusive jurisdiction shall rest with the competent courts at Cuttack, Odisha (India).
