The same applies, in a smaller way, to maintenance crews sent out to customer sites across Czechia and into Bavaria. Plzeň's healthcare capacity itself is substantial — University Hospital Plzeň spans the Lochotín and Bory sites, and Charles University's Faculty of Medicine trains doctors in the city — but capacity sitting in Plzeň is of little use if you are on site 200 kilometres away with a shift starting at six.

If you need to claim Czechia's statutory sick pay, you would generally need to contact your registered GP (praktický lékař) rather than an online certificate service.
