Lithuania's nedarbingumo pažymėjimas system is generally administered through SODRA, which also processes the related ligos pašalpa (sickness benefit) payment where an employee qualifies. This does not change who a certificate needs to come from: an employer, school, or institution asking for proof of a medical condition or fitness assessment is generally looking for a certificate issued by a doctor, whether that doctor is reached in person or through a genuine online consultation. Every certificate on this page is reviewed by a doctor registered to assess cases in Lithuania before it is issued, with a full refund if a doctor cannot issue yours.

If an employer or institution has questions about a certificate issued after an online assessment, the same verification principle applies as with any doctor-issued document: the doctor's registration can generally be confirmed independently, and a reference number on every certificate we issue links back to a verification page rather than asking anyone to simply take our word for it.

The gap between our pricing and a typical in-person visit generally reflects the difference between a walk-in appointment and an online assessment: you are paying for the doctor's review and the certificate itself, not a consultation room or receptionist time. For same-day documentation needed for travel, sport, or an employer, most people in this position choose a private route regardless of price, since the process does not depend on the next available appointment. This is not a claim that in-person care is unnecessary: for conditions that need a physical examination, a doctor may still advise seeing someone in person, and our assessment is designed to identify when that is the better route rather than issuing a certificate regardless.

An in-person visit in Lithuania typically costs in the range of €40-55 depending on the clinic and consultation type, and generally requires travelling to an appointment during clinic hours, which may not align with when you need documentation. An online assessment reviewed by a doctor registered to assess cases in Lithuania follows the same principle: a genuine clinical review before any certificate is issued, but removes the need to travel or wait for the next available slot, with same-day delivery once approved and a full refund if a doctor cannot issue a certificate.

This is not a claim that online assessment replaces in-person care in every situation.
